Message from the Men's Captain - Harry Wright Welcome to our website, but more importantly welcome to our club. If you are considering joining a club, but are concerned that you will not know anyone, don't be worried. We are probably the friendliest club in Surrey if not the country. All you need to do is put your name down for a competition or one of our regular swindles and you will be drawn with other members. We have found that this has worked extremely well over the years and makes sure that all new members are made very welcome and immediately integrated into the club. Under the General Management of Mike Ducker and his Team our course is constantly improving. It is this attention to detail that is extended to all areas of the Club. It is an exciting time at Reigate Hill at the moment as we are in the process of opening a new Golf Academy at the club and hope soon be accredited as a Golf Mark Club and centre of teaching excellence. So even if you are not ready to join a club or are new to golf, why not see if our team can improve your game. Whether you can play or not the main focus of the Club always has been and always will be to have fun, and this is never more evident than at the 19th hole. Superb catering facilities and social events make Reigate Hill an all round delightful social experience. I feel very honoured to have been chosen as Men's Captain for 2012 and look forward to another year of trying to master this great game. Happy Golfing in 2012. Harry Wright Men's Captain 2012 |

Message from Ladies' Captain - Mary Spanner Reigate Hill is an extremely friendly Golf Club and welcomes lady members of all abilities; unlike many clubs, there is no restriction on when we can play, and there is always something of interest going on for us. Thursday is Ladies day when tee times are reserved for our monthly Stablefords and Medals, and various internal and external competitions, and when there is a free Thursday, a friendly roll up is organised which gives new and existing members the opportunity to get to know each other and play golf in a non-competitive environment. Because Reigate Hill is an equal status club, the ladies are in no way treated as second-class citizens, and we are also most welcome at weekends when, again, tee times are reserved for the monthly competitions to enable working ladies, and ladies who simply enjoy playing at weekends, to take part. Integration has always been a main focus of the Club, and mixed events and fun competitions form an important part of the calendar, providing ample opportunity to get to know all the men members, and on those weekend days that are free from competitions, anyone can turn up and play in the Breakfast Swindle that starts at about 9.00am. You don't have to have a valid handicap to join, and if you are a complete beginner, our exciting new Academy is an ideal place to get started. It also offers ladies of all ages and abilities excellent facilities to practise and learn in really beautiful surroundings. The Club has great value memberships with a range of categories to suit everyone, so what ever level you are, I would highly recommend Reigate Hill, and would be truly delighted to welcome you into the fold. Message from Vin Sharma - Pilgrims Captain 2012 The Pilgrims strive to create an atmosphere which is welcoming, friendly and inclusive of all. We enjoy golf in its true spirit and traditions but never without a sense of fun! If banter were to be an event at the coming Olympics, we would win hands down! We have probably the largest and the most active seniors' section in the area. Our ongoing schedule of organised events every Monday, Wednesday and Friday is enriched by a very comprehensive programme of summer and winter knock-out competitions, 22 friendly inter-club matches, away days, annual trips to Scotland and France, Seniors' Open, National Seniors Competitions, Charity events and informal groups playing regularly at other clubs in the Network. Whatever you are looking for, you are sure to find it Reigate Hill. If not, you will be given every encouragement to add to the programme of events.
