The land on which the course was built has been under the same ownership now for some 40 years. During this time it has matured into a truely fantastic setting for a great test of golf. The Golf Course was designed by the renowned architect David Williams as an 18 hole, par 72 course layout. It plays a very challenging 6,246 yards SSS 71 course, which provides something far more important than length alone - a great deal of fun! We have some of the best fairways you'll find, as well as dry and firm tees in play all year round - no mats here!
The course has been laid out over some of the best countryside in Surrey with wonderful views from exciting elevated tees. However, you don't have to endure testing uphill holes as the design provides easy walking for most golfers. You can enjoy four great par fives and four imaginative par threes of high quality, yet none of the par fours are overly intimidating and all offer birdie chances in return for a couple of good shots. The golf course has matured significantly each year and we plan for it to get even better in the years to come as we set our standards higher and higher!
