A Fellow of the PGA, Hugh is one of the European Tour's leading Performance Coaches.
Hugh Marr is widely regarded as one of the world's leading professional golf coaches, with his players having achieved numerous wins on both the USPGA Tour, European PGA Tour and European Challenge Tours.
Hugh also has many years’ experience of successfully developing young players in his former roles as Lead Boys Coach for England Golf and Head Coach for Surrey Golf and his coaching continues to benefit Tour Professionals, aspiring amateurs and serious club golfers alike.
Sharing his philosophies and coaching principles, Hugh has a team of coaches working alongside him and has developed an extensive network of specialist support staff to work with his players.
Hugh is also a regular contributor to a range of golf media, and is recognised by Today's Golfer magazine as one of the UK's "Top 50 Coaches". He was the first accredited 'TrackMan Master' in the UK; presents at golf conventions worldwide and is a brand ambassador for Nike Golf.
Sam is a fully qualified PGA Professional Golf Coach having recently completed the AGMS degree programme at the University of Birmingham.
Sam is developing his coaching reputation locally and prides himself on providing an inclusive, fun and engaging learning experience. His skills and player centred approach has been influenced by his mentorship from Hugh Marr and his research at the University of Birmingham, ensuring he provides the highest level of coaching experience for his players.
Sam coaches all abilities of golfers - from complete beginners to fellow professional golfers alike. Alongside his work with Hugh Marr, Sam is also a county academy coach for Surrey Golf, helping to develop some of the counties best U12 golfers.
Mark is a PGA AA Professional and a world leader in the field of golf biomechanics and fitness.
With a Masters degree in Sports Science, Mark is currently undertaking his PhD studies through Birmingham University, where his research thesis is appraising 'physical interventions on swing biomechanics and kinematics'.
With a passion for helping players of all standards develop their physical ability to perform the golf swing with technical efficiency, adaptability, repeatability and in a pain free environment; Mark provides a range of unique programmes using the our World Class 'Surrey Golf Lab' facility.
Here, using realtime full 3D analysis & force/pressure plates, a full biomechanical assessment of the swing can be made and - along with the addition of realtime biofeedback - help the learning of desired swing improvements.
Mark offers 3D Biomechanical analysis to both individuals and groups, together with a full golf specific service offer including: identification of possible postural breakdowns; physiological imbalances; motor control issues and the connection between body and swing.
As well as providing support to private clients and coaches, Mark works with a number of European Tour players; National Governing Bodies; numerous County Golf Unions; University and college squads.
In recognition of his work Mark now writes articles for numerous golf publications worldwide; speaks at many leading University's; helps the PGA deliver their member PDP programs and runs CPD courses throughout the UK. This year he will also be a guest speaker at both the English National Coaches Conference; the Golf Australia National Coaches Conference and a section of his PhD thesis will be presented at the 2012 World Golf Fitness Conference in Orlando.

PGA Assistant Professional
Simon is an Assistant PGA Professional Golf Coach currently studying his PGA course at the University of Birmingham and turned professional in 2018. After a career in business in London, Simon is having a change of career to do what he always wanted to do.
Simon coaches all abilities of golfers but particularly enjoys working with club members of all abilities, juniors and beginners. His coaching focus is for players to enjoy the great game of golf and help them to score the best they can. This player centred approach has been influenced by the coaching philosophies of both Hugh Marr and Sam Truman to ensure the best coaching experience for players. In addition to coaching individuals, Simon is leading the development of the Junior Academy at Reigate Hill.
Simon enjoys coaching in groups and on a 1 to 1 basis and sees the benefit of on course coaching too. Simon is committed to continually developing his knowledge and is currently undertaking his Titleist TPI Junior and Golf Level 2 certifications and the Trackman Level 2 certification. In May 2019, Simon passed his Titleist TPI Level 1 and Trackman Level 1 certifications. This continued learning development allows Simon to keep up to date with diverse coaching systems.
